They are back! Remember their engagement photos from last week? Well, we have their elegant NYC wedding to share with you today from photomuse.

Our wedding was about love, pure and simple. We kept the guest count to 75 so that we could have as much personal time as possible with our closest family and friends. Every decision and detail was made with love. As a result, our wedding perfectly reflected us as a couple and was the wedding our dreams.

Before we got dressed, we got to go up and see the penthouse and it was breath-taking. We both cried and could not wait to see each other before the ceremony. However, we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge how much fun we had getting ready before the ceremony with family and friends.

We kept the ceremony small and focused on keeping it simple and not getting caught up in the old traditions. We wanted it to be elegant but warm.

The space was an all glass penthouse that over-looked nyc with 360 degree views.  Little decoration was needed.  We leveraged the nyc skyline views and made use of candles and white orchids. If you want elegant, you must be simple. You cannot be ornate.

We were well guided by friends and family on how to get the best deal for the space. Some of the guidance was:

  • if its not a heavy drinking crowd, pay per alcoholic beverage
  • We recommend having a video made

@Kate- Not sure about Kristin’s shirt, but I’ll tell you I was tempted to borrow her tux and shirt for my next black tie occasion!
